Women Say That Hillary Clinton And Sarah Palin Received Unfair Treatment In Their Political Campaigns

Only 29 percent thought expectations are the same. Those were among the main findings of a national survey of women, both voters and nonvoters. Eighty-six percent said the young girls and women in their lives would be more likely to take an interest in politics through Clinton and Palin. A robust 93 percent said the nomination of Clinton and Palin should encourage more women to run for office. Sixty-five per cent of women majorities in every demographic and political group has said that male and female candidates are required to different rules on campaign trail, the survey found.
